I'm sure this is somewhere in the fine print, but I missed the fact that this does not come with a very specific and obscure circular battery. So if you're me, you go online and research and buy that battery and do that not-entirely-simple process of installing it. But then it gets worse. In my case, I live in an apartment with two Apple TV devices. And while this remote does NOT power EITHER Apple TV device on once paired with one of the Apple TV devices, what it DOES do, at total random, is operate BOTH Apple TV devices when you click a given button. Trying to select a show on one TV? Congrats! You did! On the other hand, you also turned on the TV in the next room (oh yeah, forgot to add, it DOES power on the not-paired TV at total random when you press, NOT the power button, but other random buttons such as the volume control). Did I pair it to one specific TV you may ask? Why yes, I did. To no particular avail since when you press any given button, there is no telling what hell will break loose. Did you start recording a horror movie on the TV in the next room? Probably. Did the news start blaring at full volume on the other TV when you selected a Netflix movie on the intended TV? Also, probably. This thing is chaos. If you're looking for a little of that in your life, this remote might be just the thing for you.
